A B driving licence and a credit card for the security deposit of € 500 are required for the rental (we accept only Visa and Mastercard - no Prepaid, no Amex, no Virtual Card). All non-EU citizens must show a driving licence as well as an international driving permit or a sworn translation of the driving licence. Experience in driving two-wheelers is mandatory. Rental will be refused to those with little experience or who have never ridden a scooter.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Most of our vespa scooters are vintage and equipped with manual transmission, clutch, back brake pedal. We rent automatic scooters 125cc for clients with no experience in driving manual vespa. It is required to be expert in driving the vintage vespa/scooter vespa. We do not rent them to those with little experience or to those who have never driven a scooter (manual or automatic). No lesson or driving test is provided before departure. If you do not feel confident riding a Vespa, we recommend choosing a different type of experience. The day of the rental, if we discover the client is not able to drive, we will apply a 100% penalty.

• For safety and stability reasons, it is essential to respect the maximum load limit for each vehicle. On vintage 50cc Vespas, the maximum allowed weight is 75 kg. For vintage 125cc Vespas, the total weight of the rider and passenger must not exceed 160 kg. Modern (automatic) Vespas can carry up to 180 kg in total.

• The included insurance covers only third-party liability (damages caused to other vehicles, people, or property). Any damage to the Vespa itself is entirely the responsibility of the driver. The cost will be calculated based on the specific vehicle used and, in the case of serious damage, may exceed the security deposit paid.

• Once the booking is confirmed, you are required to send us the full details of the driver: first name, last name, full residential address (street, city, country), mobile phone number, email address, and driving license number. If this information is not provided in advance, the contract registration will take longer on the day of the tour. The driver must have a credit card in their own name. Alternatively, we can accept the passenger’s credit card, provided that all required details are communicated in advance.

• Riding a Vespa is a fascinating experience, but it requires attention, respect for the rules, and confident driving skills. Please make sure you are suitable for this type of experience before confirming your booking.
