During this self tour you can rent a bike and take it by train to the destination of your choice: Modena, Ferrara, Ravenna or any other city in Emilia-Romagna you wish to visit. Once you reach your destination you can explore it by bike on your own, or in the company of a tour guide (on request).

What to expect?

All you have to do is choose the destination of your trip, we'll take care of the rest! This one-day tour includes train tickets, bike and helmet hire, a map and even lunch in a typical trattoria.

Which city would you like to discover? Let us give you some examples: Piacenza, an ancient Roman colony, a city of pilgrims, mediaeval battles, Renaissance splendour and the great Farnese dynasty; Parma, a ducal city with a noble past; Reggio Emilia, a must-see to find out more about the history of the Italian flag and its role in the modern history of our country.

Then there is Modena, a UNESCO heritage site and ancient capital of the Este dukedom, who resided here from 1598; Ferrara, with its splendid UNESCO centre and the Delizie Estensi; Ravenna, which boasts eight early Christian and Byzantine monuments that have been declared UNESCO heritage sites, richly decorated with breathtaking mosaics; Rimini, Europe's most famous holiday resort, and a city of art with over 22 centuries of history; and finally Forlì-Cesena, rich in architectural testimonies of the Rationalism.
