This unique tour is designed for those who love to explore the city through the lens of a camera. Accompanied by a professional photographer, you'll uncover Bologna’s most authentic and hidden corners, far from the usual tourist paths.
With multiple photographic stops throughout the historic center and nearby areas, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture unusual perspectives, light filtering under the arcades, architectural details, and the everyday charm of local life. The photographer will be available throughout the tour to offer technical tips, guidance on framing, lighting, and composition — making this experience both educational and inspiring.
The tour begins in Via Piella, where the famous "finestrella" reveals one of the hidden canals still flowing through the city — a rare glimpse into Bologna’s watery past. From there, we’ll head to the iconic Two Towers, enduring symbols of Bologna’s medieval skyline.
Highlights also include visits to two of the city’s most important churches: San Domenico and San Francesco, both filled with character and perfect for atmospheric shots.
The ride continues under the city’s legendary porticoes, through the warm, earthy tones of Via del Pratello and Via Saragozza — two very different streets, each with a timeless charm and strong local identity.
As we return to the city center, our final stop will be in Piazza Maggiore, face to face with the majestic Fountain of Neptune — a photogenic finale worthy of your best shot.
This is a truly original and engaging experience, perfect for those who want to explore Bologna with a fresh perspective, capturing its essence one frame at a time.
No advanced photography skills required — just bring a camera or smartphone and a curious eye.
