What to expect?

Our electric bike trip in the hills starts from the city centre, precisely from the most popular park with the locals: the Giardini Margherita, with its elegant tree-lined avenues. Pedalling uphill, the guide will then lead you to the nearby Villa Ghigi park, a beautiful green area extending over 28 hectares, rich in meadows, cultivated areas and fruit trees.

You will then reach Cavaioni Park, a large park located at an altitude of about 200 metres. From here you can enjoy a splendid view of the hills and the city, which also embraces part of the Po Valley. On request we can also take a relaxing break on the grass, and recharge our batteries with a snack.

The e-bike tour ends with the return to the centre of Bologna, which can be done in two different ways: either by passing through the Talon Park on a rather complicated and technical path, or by quietly descending via Casaglia, depending on the group's preference.

Recommended equipment
To participate in this tour, we recommend that you bring a backpack, a 1-litre bottle of water and energy bars. Before setting off, have a light meal, and choose comfortable, sporty clothing: trousers with a pad, bike gloves, sunglasses or technical glasses and a light, waterproof jacket.
