What to expect?

The hills of Bologna can be really fun for those who love the world's most famous two-wheeler.

Our tour starts at San Michele in Bosco, an ancient monastery surrounded by greenery and offering spectacular views of the city. Another lovely viewpoint along the route is the one at the Eremo di Ronzano, a church located on top of the Villa Ghigi Park.

The next stops of the tour are the Cavaioni Park and the Sabbiuno Memorial, a monument erected in memory of a massacre that took place during the Nazi-Fascist era.

After stopping over at Sasso Marconi to see the suspended bridge of Vizzano and the imposing Palazzo de' Rossi, we head back to Bologna and its famous Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, one of the landmarks of the city.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Most of our vespa scooters are vintage and equipped with manual transmission, clutch, back brake pedal. We rent automatic scooters 125cc for clients with no experience in driving manual vespa. It is required to be expert in driving the vintage vespa/scooter vespa. We do not rent them to those with little experience or to those who have never driven a scooter (manual or automatic). No lesson or driving test is provided before departure. If you do not feel confident riding a Vespa, we recommend choosing a different type of experience. The day of the rental, if we discover the client is not able to drive, we will apply a 100% penalty.

• For safety and stability reasons, it is essential to respect the maximum load capacity of the vehicle. On a vintage Vespa, the combined weight of rider and passenger must not exceed 160 kg. For modern Vespa scooters (automatic), the limit is 180 kg.

• The included insurance covers only third-party liability (damages caused to other vehicles, people, or property). Any damage to the Vespa itself is entirely the responsibility of the driver. The cost will be calculated based on the specific vehicle used and, in the case of serious damage, may exceed the security deposit paid.

• Once the booking is confirmed, you are required to send us the full details of the driver: first name, last name, full residential address (street, city, country), mobile phone number, email address, and driving license number. If this information is not provided in advance, the contract registration will take longer on the day of the tour. The driver must have a credit card in their own name. Alternatively, we can accept the passenger’s credit card, provided that all required details are communicated in advance.

• Riding a Vespa is a fascinating experience, but it requires attention, respect for the rules, and confident driving skills. Please make sure you are suitable for this type of experience before confirming your booking.
